ICE PEARL Barre Method 🩰 ✨Lunges on relevé ✨combine the traditional ballet concepts of balance and strength with the dynamic movement of a lunge.
✨Position at the Barre✨our feet can begin in a parallel position (feet hip-width apart and toes facing forward).
Lift onto the balls of your feet into a relevé (demi-pointe), keeping your core engaged and spine long. This engages your calves, ankles, and core from the outset.
✨Step Back into Lunge✨From relevé, extend one leg backward, bending both knees to lower your body into a lunge position. The front leg forms a 90-degree angle at the knee, with the knee tracking over the toes, and the back leg bends slightly to bring the knee close to the ground without touching it.
✨Maintain Balance✨Engage your core, glutes, and thigh muscles to stay stable.
🩰Ballet barre lunges on relevé are an excellent exercise for dancers to build both functional strength and the grace required in ballet.🩰✨
